Overview
Choose between a plain text message, a rich embed, or a full image welcome card for new members, plus a separate goodbye configuration for when they leave. Each has its own mode, message, and card styling.
Both support a placeholder system ({user}, {server}, {membercount}, {accountage}, and more) so messages stay personalized without any manual editing per member.
Join roles can be automatically assigned to new human members, with a separate optional role specifically for bot accounts joining the server, and a configurable delay before the welcome message posts (useful for letting verification bots finish first).
Setup

Enable Welcome
Toggle the module on from Overview or the Welcome page.

Pick a message mode
Choose text, embed, or full image card for both the welcome and (separately) the goodbye message.

Write your message copy
Use the placeholder system to personalize text, card titles, and card subtitles without hardcoding member names.

Style the welcome/goodbye card
If using card mode, customize background, accent color, text colors, and avatar border shape independently for welcome vs. goodbye.

Set join roles
Choose one or more roles automatically granted to new human members, and optionally a separate role for bot accounts.

Configure delay and cleanup
Set a delay before the welcome message posts, and whether the previous welcome/goodbye message gets deleted when a new one is posted.

Preview before going live
Use /welcome test to simulate a join and see exactly what will post, without anyone actually joining.

Delete Previous Message Default: Off | Deletes the prior welcome message when a new one posts, to avoid channel clutter. |
Goodbye Enabled Default: On | Whether a goodbye message posts when a member leaves. |
