Reaction Roles
Create button or select-menu role panels, including exclusive role groups, with a visual builder and live preview.

Overview
Build role panels as either reaction buttons or a select-menu dropdown, directly from the dashboard's visual panel builder with a live preview of exactly how the panel will look in Discord.
Group roles into exclusive sets (like pronoun or region roles) so picking a new option automatically removes the previous one, avoiding role pile-up.
If a panel message or one of its target roles is deleted, Java Lava automatically cleans up the panel configuration so it doesn't reference something that no longer exists. Reaction Roles is free on every plan. Free includes 5 panels and Java Lava Pro raises that to 25.
Setup
- 1
Enable Reaction Roles
Toggle the module on from Overview or the Reaction Roles page.
- 2
Create a panel
Use the visual panel builder to choose button or select-menu style, then add role options with labels, emoji, and colors.
- 3
Group exclusive roles
Mark a set of roles as exclusive (e.g. pronoun roles) so selecting one automatically removes any other role in that group.
- 4
Preview and publish
Check the live preview against how it'll render in Discord, then publish the panel to your chosen channel.
Examples
Illustrative mockups of what reaction roles posts in Discord. They are not a live capture, but they match the real thing.

🎨 Pick your pronoun roles
Select any that apply from the dropdown below. You can pick more than one, and this is an exclusive group, so choosing a new region role will remove your old one.
