Overview
Custom Forms is a website-based form builder: design a form with the fields you need, and members fill it out on the Java Lava dashboard site rather than in Discord. Useful for staff applications, event sign-ups, and structured feedback that's awkward to collect through chat.
Form links are shared manually wherever you'd normally post one (a channel, a pinned message, or a bio link), and responses are collected for staff to review.
Setup
- 1
Open Custom Forms
Navigate to Community > Custom Forms in the dashboard.
- 2
Build a form
Add the fields you need: short answer, long answer, multiple choice, and more.
- 3
Share the link
Post the form's link wherever members will see it; Java Lava doesn't post it automatically.
- 4
Review responses
Submitted responses are collected on the dashboard for staff to review.
